We are no longer meeting at Tucson's. The meeting location and topic will be announced soon.
Meetings will be held as wanted by local list subscribers, and
as the group grows to other areas of the state, we'll look at other places
to meet as well. We're going to be an active, on the move LUG, so
any volunteer support is appreciated!
One way for Linux to get better known is for LUGs to be involved in our communities. This is the perfect way for that to happen.
We will also have raffles at each meeting. Several of the major Linux organizations have offered to supply us with free stuff that we all love, whether we admit it or not. The tickets will be sold for $2.00 each. Any money raised will be used for FLALUG expenses or donated to the charity of choice (voted on by those in attendance at that meeting) in the name of the Florida Linux Users Group.
